PLATO is an architectural studio based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegowina.

The studio was founded on the vision of its lead architect to rediscover the essential meaning of space, and to create environments that feel deeply personal and authentic to those who inhabit them.

At its core, the studio is shaped by this guiding idea, while its strength grows through a carefully selected network of collaborators. Each individual contributes through their own discipline, bringing new perspectives and supporting the realization of projects with clarity and purpose.

At studio PLATO, we create interiors and architecture of residential spaces that elevate everyday living. From the first sketch to the final build, every detail is shaped with intention and executed with exceptional care, ensuring the final result surpasses your expetations.

Our work is rooted in continuously evolving knowledge of environment, spatial philosophy, and emerging technologies which we thoughtfully integrate into each project.

What we offer is not a style, but a way of thinking - a process that allows spaces to become deeply personal, yet timeless, grounded in their essence and naturally resolved.

1. Working with us is a process of discovery of space, material, and the way you live.

2. From the beginning, you can expect guidance. Not only in making decisions, but in understanding them: why something works, how materials behave, how space can support your everyday rhythm.

3. You can expect a space that is not only visually refined, but deeply considered calm, balanced, and lasting. Beauty, for us, is not an addition, but a result of clarity and alignment.

4. Throughout the process, we remain present: guiding, refining, questioning, and supporting. We shape the project together, translating your needs into a space that feels natural, personal, and essential.

PROJECT TIMELINE

2. Site measurement & examination

1. Initial talk, professional consultation The first step in shaping the project: an open conversation that helps us understand your lifestyle, needs, and vision. It allows us to establish a clear direction and begin creating a space with a unique atmosphere, material language, and spatial logic.

4. Client approval

3. Concept moodboards and floorplan presentation. Through sketches, references, material selections and early layouts, we define the core idea of the project.

6. Client approval

5. Project creation. Detailed 2d and 3D presentation for explanation of our vision. Visual clarity before execution. Through high-quality 3D renderings, we communicate the spatial experience, materiality, and light — allowing clients to fully understand and engage with the design before construction begins.

7. Detailed technical drawings - Main project ready for execution We develop detailed drawings, technical specifications, and material definitions required for precise on-site execution, ensuring that every element is clearly communicated and aligned with the design intent.

8. Project realisation and supervision Ensuring the integrity of the design throughout construction. We provide professional supervision on-site, coordinating with contractors and craftsmen, reviewing progress, and ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with the project documentation and design vision.
